A cell phone for the 21st Century

Today was the day I broke down and activated an Android cell phone I bought almost 2 years ago.  That should give you some indication of how much I love this technological world we live in.  Is it fear of the unknown?  Is it feeling overwhelmed by learning something with so many buttons?  Is it my age?  Is it that we don't have enough time or patience?  The answer is all of the above!

Some of us baby boomers do everything we can to avoid making our already complicated lives anymore complicated.  I think not growing up with computers and smart phones puts many of us at a disadvantage.  However, it is time to open our minds and stop procrastinating.  What was that quote "We have nothing to fear but fear itself"

Last night while viewing my facebook page I saw a post from one of the owner's of Shorewest Realtors John Paul Horning.  He was posting about a new app for the real estate company I work for.  I thought cool, I am planning on activating this cell phone that has been in a drawer in my kitchen for almost 2 years now I can surf real estate on my new phone too, Cool!!

My daughter actually said "Mom welcome to the 2000's of course she meant welcome to the 21st Century in her language.

That is what has brought me to my first Blog and also a link to the smartphone application  http://www.shorewest.com/blog/2011/11/23/shorewest-updates-iphone-app/
Sometimes we have to step outside of our comfort zone we may actually find that in stepping out we may actually make our lives less complicated....
